Claim Service That Stands Out
At Foremost, we know what's important to customers when they have a
loss. Our customers tell us they appreciate experts who know their business;
people with compassion who know a claim can be a traumatic, upsetting
experience. Read what Foremost customers have to say about the service they received from Foremost.
Having a claim is bad enough
How many times have you worked with people who
don't know things you'd expect them to know...people who are poorly
trained...ill-equipped to do the job...people who just don't care?
What makes Foremost's claim service extraordinary?
Training. Your
Foremost claim adjuster participates in an intense eight-week training
regimen. It's a well thought-out program that includes classroom instruction
and actual hands-on repairs.
It doesnt matter what you insure with us we train our adjusters in what it takes to get your property fixed right the first time. First and Foremost®. And in many situations we can issue a check for your claim right on the spot.
Technology. Customers can get quick service when the claim adjuster has the tools to provide it. Laptops go everywhere our adjusters go. Our adjusters feed information about your loss directly into our system. They use digital cameras to send images of damaged property directly to our files. Decisions get made quickly. There's no time wasted on mail delivery.
We're there when disaster strikes. We prepare ahead for disasters to make sure we're at the scene and equipped to settle claims immediately. We track hurricanes long before they hit land. Our staff remains on standby - ready to travel where they're needed most. Only our most experienced adjusters are used in catastrophe situations and they have the authority to write checks on the spot.
Minor claims handled speedily. No claim is a small matter, but some claims are less costly than others, such as a paint spill on carpeting. These types of claims are often settled during your initial phone call.
About Insurance FraudFraud is not a random act - the industry estimates that ten percent of all claims payments are for losses that aren't legitimate. It takes on many forms: arson, staged auto accidents, even padding a loss to cover the deductible or the premium paid. Unfortunately, fraudulent claims leave their mark on honest customers - the people who play by the rules - in the form of higher insurance premiums.
To search for and expose cases of insurance fraud, Foremost established a Special Investigation Unit in 1995 to examine suspicious claims.
And back in 1974, we began a program to offer a reward for information leading to the criminal conviction in arson claims. Today, in addition to arson, our reward program includes convictions for all types of insurance fraud.
This combination of effort and reward helps us do the best job possible uncovering fraudulent losses. We are committed to addressing this crime, which is often mistakenly viewed as victimless.
